Spinoff re: Returning Convertible Carseats
I got 2 convertible carseats at my shower - a Britax Boulevard CS 70 and and Evenflo Triumph. I had always thought I would return them and buy them again when DD was ready to move from the infant carseat. But when I looked up the expiration dates for these specific seats, they were both 2017.
Are kids still in regular convertible carseats at 6 years old?? Won't they have moved into booster seats by then?

matters on the child and there size - one child i babysat was in one till she was 8 - but she was on the small side and she never minded the seat so her parents never moved her to a booster

we switched #1 at 4.5 years - he is tall. I think my little one, who is turning 4 next month, will go right away, b/c he is the size of a 6 year old.
You will need one around 7 months - 1 year...I would keep one.
