Babies R Us vent
We got 2 beddings from our registry from BRU. My shower was last Saturday. The people who bought it for me spent 139.99 and the reciept was on file from her BRU card and I had a reciept and it was taken from my registry. The manager said because it was bought over 90 days ago, they have to give me the price it is today. $46!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We didn't return it, we are bringing it to the person above him on Monday.

That's CRAZY!!!!
What if they return the OTHER person's bedding... maybe it was more recent. Is that on file?
It's stuff like that that is going to make people choose Amazon and BBB! I thought BRU changed that stupid policy?!?!?

Even though you had the receipt?? They should make an exception for items that were purchsed from a registry, people buy those item well ahead of time, so glad i don't have a BRU within 50 miles of me.

Ugh..that is terrible! This makes me want to delete my registry from there My mom insists we have one from there since there is one very close to where we live and BBB's are few and far bw. So we have both....

I HATE BRU! They are the worst! customer service is the worst their employees are so rude and unhelpful, they've even made me cry one time can't stand them but their stores are everywhere

i dont mean to play devils advocate but i believe it states that on the back of the recipt. that if its past 90 days you get the current price. obvioulsy it isnt your fault that the person bought it so early.
hopefully they will make an exception for you

When I registered, I was told that items on my registry could be returned within 90 days of my due date...
I would check the regisrty policy, and def keep going above the person who says no...corporate can do way more for you than the store level management!
