Mohnk Mountain House
Is it worth the pricing? I have been wanting to go for a few years, but the price just seems a bit steep...
Anyone just love and can recommend it?

I went for a company retreat and would not pay to go there. It's a nice getaway but you can get a better environment and experience if you're willing to drive further or fly somewhere...
I've done alot of traveling and my vote is it's overrated.

Me too. We just went for the day ( from Manhattan)--didn't stay over, but I would have no desire to stay there. I thought the house smelled musty & the buffet lunch is awful. I hear the dinner is better though.
The grounds are beautiful, but you can tour the grounds without staying thre, or if you just want to go hiking you can just go the Mohonk Preserve.
