What are the best jeans (designer or non-designer) that you have found?
and what is your body type?
and how do you find certain brands run?
I have some curves (I have a little booty) and I like my jeans to not be long, so I always buy them in short. I'm looking for straight leg, and I want them fitted (I don't like baggy or loose) but open to any suggestions. I also like mid-rise. I'm not 21 anymore. 
I've heard good things about Hudson, but I haven't tried them.
I DO love Lucky Brand Jeans, especially the Lola Fit, but looking for more ideas. Thanks!

perfect bootcut anf long and lean......

I am somewhat curvy (waist tapers in and then my hips are my biggest part, but I am not super contoured or anything), around a size 10 and my favorites are either Seven for All Mankind bootcut or Citizens of Humanity Kelly bootcut. I also have a pair of William Rast Sienna leggings and love them. The next brand I will probably focus on is AG Adriano Goldschmied. I have a pair of AG cords and they are amazing and flattering. I find they are very comfy and forgiving.
I find William Rast runs a little big, Seven and COH true to size, J Brand is super small, True Religion is slightly small, AG was a little big, Joe's Jeans a bit big (also good for curves)

I am 5'7" and have long legs so I need long jeans...probably not going to help you at all
I like 7 for all mankind, Bebe and Express best.

apple shaped, I have a waist if you look me head on, but from the side, I'm all belly 
Gap Curvy is the best thing in the world for me.
designer never works for me, the only jeans that ever look good are the cheapo ones from like H&M, Mandee etc, and gap ...
I have yet to try "not your daughters jeans" but the name kind of turns me off

I have a small waist but wider hips (and thighs!). I really like Abercrombie jeans.

Citizens fit the best on me and always make my butt look good. And 2 cheaper options I always like are Gap and American Eagle for jeans.

Joes Jeans have always worked for my curvy butt
GAP jeans were good when I was bigger and didnt want to spend $$$ on jeans in a big size
I am back to my small size now and bought my first pair of CITIZENS which are fabulous!!!

i am curvy -5'4
i love joes jeans - petite provacateur
they have a slight bit of stretch and good for curvy figures
i find them at loehmanns and tj maxx for $79-89

I'm 5'4" and somewhat thin. I don't have a ginormous butt, but it's definitely there! I usually only wear Guess jeans. I always have to get the length tailored, so I factor that into the price I pay. Even the short lengths are too long.
I try to buy them at L&T when they are on sale and when I have a coupon.

i got a pair of hudsons (on sale with a gift card- otherwise couldnt justify the price). they are a tad long (and im tall) but there's plenty of room in the booty and the waist is comfy. they are not like all my other (uncomfortable) jeans that i own.

Joe's Jeans are my favorite. Also Express jeans. Both work if you have a curvy butt.

I think Lucky Brand Jeans were made for me. I wore them when I was skinny size 8, I wore them when I was heavier size 14 and now I'm almost back into 10's. At all sizes they made me look great.

I bought a pair of these in Macy's around Christmas time, I think they fit really well and have everything the OP is looking for. The style I got has a little stretch to it which makes them super comfy. I have a teenage daughter so the name was funny to me.
I have way too much junk in my trunk to wear any low ride jeans no matter how pricy or well made. I've seen too many woman my age with crack showing to go down that road.
