EASTER?PASSOVER menus!!! let's see them
so, I am working it out to
Sat breakfast:
whole wheat buttermilk pancakes, grilled chorizo, scrambled eggs, home fries
midday apps: cheese, crackers, fruit salad
Sat dinner:
armenian lamb kebabs with dirty bread, onions, and eggplant
marinated beef and chicken kebabs (for the lamb-o-phobes)
rice pilaf
grilled asparagus
salad
Sat dessert: birthday cake for my godson...shapla's vanilla buttermilk batter with chocolate ganache frosting
Easter Breakfast:
cinnamon bread french toast, fruit salad, hard boiled eggs, croissants with jam and nutella
Easter midday apps: proscuitto and gorgonzola twists, assorted salumi, olives and artichokes
Easter dinner:
spiral ham (thank you again Carolyn!)
baked ziti with meat sauce
butter braised snow peas
mashed roasted sweet potatoes
salald
dessert: coco-bunny cupcakes
trying to keep it simple since we are having about 30 people every day in my house!!!! including breakfast!

Please tell me what procuitto and gorgonzola twists are!!!
what they are is so easy and delicious!!!!
roll out a sheet of puff pastry. thinly layer one half with proscuitto and finely crumbled gorgonzola. fold over other half. brush on some egg wash. cut into thin strips with pizza cutter or sharp knife. take strips and twiril into strips.
bake on a baking sheet at 375 till nicely browned.
the end!!!

This is my first Holiday Buffet....I always have sit-down formal dinners on Holidays; so I'm excited for the change.
At least with the food, my guests can eat all day long while it stays hot! Hoping this method will guarantee less leftovers.

this sounds amazing... i might try it with fontina for all my non-gorgonzola eating family members!
