rec'd your appliances!
Hi all! new to this board but not this site!
i am doing a total kitchen renovation and have to make some decisions fast on appliances. . having a hard time looking as I have a newborn
Anyone have any rec's for
refrigerator stove/microwave?
We think we want french doors on refrigerator and were looking at kitchenaid or viking. . viking is more $ but don't know if it's worth it. .
also stove? we were going to get a GE profile but don't know. .
TIA!!!!

Re: rec'd your appliances!
I did all KitchenAid Architect Series appliances and a Sharp drawer microwave. We wanted to keep the cost down but still wanted a nicer look. I think viking appliances would have been an overimprovement for our particular area honestly. So far, so good with everything.

Re: rec'd your appliances!
We just got all Electrolux Icon, we have a Wolf rangetop and a samsung french door huuuuge fridge...while we were ready to splurge on a sub zero, we wanted something huge, and samsung had the biggest french door on the market that fit our kitchen right now. So far I'm obsessed with every appliance

hmm we were thinking of the wolf range too but weren't sure of the extra cost. . I actually loved the samsung french door too but for some reason DH got it in his head that bc they made electronics they couldn't be as good at refrigerators. . makes ZERO sense.

and thanks for the other pics too.
you both have great kitchens! I'm going to go look at all those things too
(except sadly the subzero - that's a little out of my price range now)

At first DH was leary too, but they've been rated best fridges and randomly washer and dryers for a while and even the sales guy we were questioning about the fridges including subz's said it was a great fridge and that sub z's have been having issues lately!!! the Wolf Range top is INSANE....we have a 6 burner I love it, but so far I haven't done anything that crazy on it, with passover coming up I'm really going to put it to use this weekend

Re: rec'd your appliances!
We have GE Cafe series appliances. I absolutely love them they are beautiful, my only complaint is we got a cabinet depth refrigerator which is a loss of lots of cf. We have an additional frige in our garage so it's not a big deal but if we didn't have that it would be an issue. But even if I could redo it I wouldn't because the cabinet depth looks alot better in my kitchen!

Re: rec'd your appliances!
We just finished our kitchen a few weeks ago. We have a 36" Wolf Range/oven which I LOVE!! I love to cook - last night we made homemade pizzas and they turned out amazing!
We have a Bosch refridgerator (our options were limited because we needed counter-depth). Our microwave is Panasonic.

We looked at these too but were worried from some of the consumer reports about the oven. . I thought they were gorgeous! Are you having any problems with the oven? That seemed to be the main complaint - that the lower oven didn't work so well and then something about the knobs getting hot. . we are doing cabinet depth too. . dont really have a choice

We altered our wall while we were doing sheetrock to fit a larger fridge. The counterdepth was considerably smaller especially the freezer. Our cabinetmaker thought it was a good idea and it wound up fitting like a glove. It saved us about 1k because the counterdepth was much more expensive too. Something to maybe consider for more room??
