headcold or allergies??? either way, is there anything we can take?

For the past 2 days I've had a sore throat and stuffy nose.... now its and itchy throat, still stuffy and heavy head...

So either it is/was a cold - or its allergies - what can a PG girl take to get some relief??

I'm just getting over all of this myself. My doctor said I could take regular Zyrtec or Claritin, Tylenol Cold (as directed on the box and for the least amount of time as possible), regular Tylenol, any throat lozengers, gargle with salt water and Robitussin (regular, no letters after it i.e. DM or CF).

I take zyrtec for allergies.
