HOw do you aspirate a baby's nose?

Her nose is stuffy but Im not 100% sure how to do it w/ the saline drops and aspirator - any helpful hints?

Another sleepless night has left me shot...I need some guidance with this for her. Thank you so much

Depress the aspirator, stick the boogie snatcher in one nostril, hold the other nostril down, release the aspirator. I don't think there was one time I could do it without having them scream & squirm.

Not the most pleasant thing but sit her up spray one or two squirts in her nostril.She will cry. Then kind of lean her back into the crook of your arm, squeeze the aspirator before you put it in her nose, once in her nose let go so the boogies get sucked out, squeeze out boogie snatcher after each time.

Did your doctor say you have to aspirate?

My doctor recommends just the saline drops which loosens everything up, but to let it work its way out naturally. The aspirator may be less comfy than a stuffy nose!!

Oh the dreaded nasal aspirator!!! My daughter acts like you are murdering her when I take it out!

I would do it as DD was laying down -- instead of spritzing directly up her nose, I'd kind of let a drop or 2 fall in.

I would also see if the drops work on their own first before using the aspirator.

I hated doing the drops. I would lay my DD down and let them fall into her nose. I would then take the boogie sucker and **** them out boy did DD hate that
