hate mushy broccoli
that being said, I do not like raw broccoli and i dont like it "hard" either...I like it "just right" crisp!

I cannot stand half cooked veggies. Either it's raw and crunchy or fully cooked and soft.

I hate hard and I hate mush. I like it to have just a little snap. If I HAD to choose I'd go hard and crunchy because I do not like mushy mouth feel for my veg.

they way chinese food take out makes it!  It is always perfect! I can rarely get it to that perfectly cooked crispness! lol

Me too! I use the Ziploc steamer bags...those are great for broccoli.
And there is nothing better than dipping steamed broccoli in a little bit of ranch dressing.

This. I don't know exactly how to describe it but the "Chinese take-out way" is my favorite way.
