Maternity clothes fit
How does everyone feel about wearing fitted clothes with a belly? I'm hearing different things from people. I personally prefer fitted clothes over flowy ones. I have a fitted dress that I may possibly wear for my shower but wondering if it's appropriate now.

Re: Maternity clothes fit
I kind of like wearing fitted clothes, it makes me not feel as huge, especially at the end. I'm not tent-like.

Re: Maternity clothes fit
I prefer fitted clothes. I think things that fit correctly always look better than things that are too large, etc. I do occasionally wear tunic tops that are a bit looser less bump hugging, but most of my wardrobe consists of tighter clothes.
Honestly, I'm pretty much always in some combination of leggings/skinny jeans, long tank top, long button down cardigan, and high boots. I'm pretty boring.

Re: Maternity clothes fit
I much prefer fitted - I feel less whale-like. And it shows off the bump much more.

Re: Maternity clothes fit
It depends. I would not wear fitted to work but I might outside of work. I am only 17 weeks so I am still in my regular shirts and I have been wearing a scarf to hide my bump from my clients because I dont want them to know!!!! If I have an "all belly" pregnancy I will feel more comfortable wearing fitted but if I grow everywhere I will probably want to wear loose clothes. I already bought some maternity cargo capris for the summer when I am very PG and they looks really cute so I will probably wear them with a fitted shirt (not at work) which will look cute with the cargos, I am hoping!!!!

Re: Maternity clothes fit
I'm the minority, but I find fitted clothes to be uncomfortable! I prefer loose and flowy.

Re: Maternity clothes fit
i think it depends on the shirt. some flowly ones, if they sit right on th ebelly look cute and not whale like where others look like a tent. i think fitted ones are cute because they accent your belly. im currently wearing a pre-pregnancy shirt that has now become fitted

I only wear fitted tops, otherwise I would look huge. Go for the fitted dress!

Re: Maternity clothes fit
I prefer fitted as well. I already feel large and in charge so clothes that are baggy/loose make me feel worse.
