furniture
Growing up I always had a dresser, and my brother had a 5 drawer chest, so I always figured dresser for girl, chest for boy, but my DH had a dresser.
So is it dresser girl, 5 drawer chest boy, or it doesn't matter?

Re: furniture
don't think it matters, DS has both dressers in his room, and the new baby will have the long dresser with a hutch (no tall dresser) I think it depends more on space and personal preference.

Re: furniture
Don't have any idea why it would matter. I like the dresser b/c it can be used as a changing table.

Re: furniture
I am having and ordered both a dresser and chest....I never really associated either with a gender. The baby's room is pretty large so we had enough room for the extra pieces of furniture. Mine is coming tomorrow....I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!
