how on earth am i going to make it 4 more weeks before we tell people i'm preggo???
we've told our parents and one other couple. Both of us are literally bursting at the seams every day to tell our other friends and family!
help! how do you hold it in that long!!

good lord I avoided people like the plague bc I wanted to tell certain people so bad! LOL its so tough!

mostly I just told a lot of folks (close family and a a few friends) . . also telling strangers helped me bc you get the excitement of telling but no trauma. . like folks at the dr's, a waitress who I asked for saltines and seltzer, etc. . it was quite satisfying!!

I avoided my family and friends - but I did have to tell a few people esp at work with how sick I was
It was so hard cause IL live out of state and we wanted to tell them in person - so we didn't tell a lot of family/friends till 15w

I didn't even try to not tell people. we just told people as we saw them because we liked telling people in person so some people found out at 7 weeks and others not until 11 weeks. I really liked having the support of friends and co-workers during the first trimester.

I told people I was closest to that there was no way I could hide it from (our parents and my best friend). The HARDEST was my brother and my grandmother. It was killing me! But we held off.

Well since DH has told most everyone already I'm really only keeping it from work. I have not told my friends from home, and I can't wait, but I don't see them daily.

we've made it 10 weeks with only telling my parents and 1 friend... i guess i'm old fashioned when it comes to telling people in the first trimester. we have kept ourselves very busy during our free time and i'm super busy at work so i try my best not to think about it and focus on my job. we avoid drinking events at all costs (lies lies lies!!!) but i know our friends will understand in 2 weeks when we tell everyone the truth!

We both told a lot of strangers  DH told his job right away because there was an emergency in one of his coworker's families, and he had to have a really good reason why he needed to get out early here and there for Dr appts, so he would tell a lot of his customers that came in with infants or that were pregnant since he wasn't hiding it there at all.
