Sooo at 10 days since delivering.........
I'm down 17 pounds! 
In total I gained 48lbs this pregnancy..I was in shock to see how fast the weight is coming off. I'm not dieting, just eating normal (which is healthy) and drinking TONS of water. I've been EBF'ing, Mason eats like 12x a day...he's a hungry guy!!
I'm sure I'll get to a point where it will be hard to get the weight off, but right now it's effortless. I still have a tummy but its much more like my 20 week belly...it's going down fast (thanks to BFing).
So for those of you freaking out about weight gain....don't be!

It's always great to hear stories like this! Keep them coming!!!!
I have to say that your post especially gives me hope. Just like you I've gained so much during pregnancy. Almost 35 lbs at 29 weeks.
So just hearing this makes me feel so much better. I thought that because I've gained more than the average person I'd be doomed.

By the time I delivered my DD I had gained 65lbs total............a TON of it was just water retention in the last weeks of my pregnancy. Well, 3 weeks after delivering my DD I was down 65 lbs and back at my pre-pregnancy weight and I didn't really do anything at all except drink a ton of water.

I totally agree don't stress about the weight! I gained a total of 50 lbs and I have lost 40 lbs 3 weeks since delivering. I have been eating like a maniac too bc I am bfing and I am always hungry. Although I know the last 10 lbs may be harder to loose I am happy with where I am now.
Oh and I never thought my ankles/feet would ever be the same.....and slowly but surely they are shrinking!

Don't worry. I actually have been stressing a lot less over the weight. From what I've seen it looks like baby weight does come off fast. It looks like most people lose almost half of what they gain in the first couple of weeks. No one I know that has given birth had a problem getting the weight off. Some took longer than others, but most got it all off within 6 months.
