What's so bad about BRU?

I have read that people do not like BRU.

I live in Queens and the nearest BBB is LI like 30 minutes away. BRU is right near me so I figured we would register there.,

Do you feel BRU is SO bad we should just travel to and fro to BBB? Please share your experiences.

I registered at both bc I live 5 minutes away from BRU in Queens and BBB is kinda far. To be honest with you, I like both but BRU won me over bc if they don't have something in the store and you order online, the shipping is free if the order is $100

I think a lot of people havea problem with their return policy. You can not return or even exchange anything without a receipt. When you have a newborn, things change, diaper sizes, clothing sizes and you can not even exchange them. My friend had bought me a gift there, it was defective and they gave me the hardest time returning it because the gift receipt showed it had been returned already....she had just bought it, hours earlier. They re-rang the order because they forgot to scan her coupon and it showed as being returned and gave me the hardest time exchanging it, just to get one that was not defective.

I adore BRU...prob intially because my dad runs a TRU and so im loyal to hia company...but I actually hate BBB personally, never find anhything I ike there. JMO... see what you like and make a decision from there

I've had plenty of friends who used BRU and had no problems.

BBB is just too far for my family & friends, so we opted for BRU registry only.

I have had a lot of friends use BRU without a problem. I registered there and BBB because BRU will be easier for a lot of people since there are more of them throughout the country.

Same here...BRU is just more convenient...but I also registered atAmazon.com/baby regisrty b/c they have EVERYTHING and often at better prices than BRU.

When pregnant with DS I registered at BRU. They were a little annoying with their return policy which is why I avoided them this time. But if it is what is closer I say go for it.

I heard most people have trouble with their return policy!

I registered at BRU because BBB was just too inconvenient for people.

BRU is definitely more convenient. I haven't really decided but I know i tend to like BBB a little better. just feel like the store is nicer.

FYI I'm in queens also and there is a BBB in manhattan as well.

That is such an annoying return policy. Hmmm I guess I will have to think about this one...TY girls

if u buy stuff on ur rewards card u dont have an issue returning things. if stuff is bought off ur registry u still dont have an issue returning things.

i like bru and bbb. bru is better for convience and the selection of clothes they ahve.
bbb has alot more patterns and selections to chose from imo. (strollers etc)

I didnt have a problem with the return policy because if it was on your registry then they just give the money back in store credit. I had a problem with

1. I got doubles of a lot and they were still on my registry as not purchased.

2. They tell you, you will get points for everything bought off your registry and then they have these periods where they dont give points which happened to be the two months before my EDD... so everything bought off my registry did not get points!
