Coworkers and Baby Showers
Did you invite coworkers to your baby shower? If so, were you also thrown a shower at work?
I work in a very small office. There are a couple of women who I would normally invite to my shower, but I think they might do something for me here in the office (these women would be the ones handling it). I don't know if they'll feel like I'm asking for two gifts if I do invite them (even though I of course do not expect anything and I certainly would not want them to buy two gifts).
Also, where did you draw the line with who to invite? There are a couple women I'm very close to (mentioned above), but that would leave like 3 or 4 others who I'm not all that close to, but I worry might feel slighted if some are invited and others are not.

Re: Coworkers and Baby Showers
I did not put coworkers on my baby shower list, I also didn't invite them to my bridal shower or my wedding. I don't know if they are doing something for me at work or not. It would be nice to invite them, but I drew the line at no work people to keep it more affordable. HTH!

Re: Coworkers and Baby Showers
I work in a medium sized office and I will have a work shower.
I will be inviting my three closest co-workers to my baby shower. They were invited and came to my wedding and are more friend friends than work friends.

Re: Coworkers and Baby Showers
I worked in an office with about 10 women they were all invited to my baby shower. They didn't throw me one in the office but chipped in and also bought me something when the baby was born.

Re: Coworkers and Baby Showers
I invited the coworkers I was close with to my baby shower at 33 weeks.
Not sure if they would have thrown me a shower at work. I went out on bedrest at 32 weeks so I suppose I didn't give them a chance to.
But the whole office (50+) chipped in on a gift when DS was born.
