Where did everyone have there baby showers?

If at a home or a restaurant what fun goofy games did u play?
Anyone have a shower where games were NOT played?

Trying to put one together for someone who DOESNT want all those fun games so im thinking, what the heck would we do for a couple hours in a house without playing anything?

Mine was at my mom's house.

My sister just threw a shower for her SIL with no games. It was a tea party with pinwheel sandwiches, etc. Everyone talked and remarked how great it was that they didn't have to play games. I'll ask her if she did anything else.

Im just so scared of 15 woman just sitting there and having no way to entertain them...
I guess by the time you eat.. talk a little bit.. open gifts.. have cake.. 2 hours probably have gone by already..

We had the shower at my mother's house and there were no games. I opened my gifts, we ate, had cake and then they left. No need to entertain grown women...

My mom and MIL hosted a shower for me at a restaurant in East Williston. No games (thank goodness). We just ate lunch, I opened gifts and that was it...

Same here-- it was a nice small shower (maybe 15-20 people) at a restaurant in Manhattan. No games, I actually don't like shower games at all and was so glad we didn't play them! Just a nice meal, gifts, chitchat, etc.

My shower was at Peppercorn's in Hicksville. There were a few games, but my family is uber competitive, so there would have been a riot if there wasn't some sort of competition.

my shower was in a restaurant. we didnt play any games at all. fun was had by all. the time goes so fast between eating and opening gifts and cake. noone cared about the games. not to mention i was 9 months pregnant and uncomfortable. so i didnt mind not having the games.

I had my baby shower at The New Yorker, in Oceanside. It was so much fun, the food there is amazing, and we had around 45 people. My mom had some fun games, like baby bingo everyone had to write down what they think I got as gifts and when I opened them up they had to mark off there bingo card if they were right. The string game where everyone has to take a guess as to how big my belly is then wrap there string around me to see if they were right. They were some fun games.

I had mine in a church basement which was very big and had a kitchen a nd a stage it was very nie
