Rhogam Shot
Hi ladies,
I am scheduled to get the Rhogam shot this week bc my blood type is AB - Has anyone gotten it or is going to get it? Thanks ladies...

I've had it once and have to get it again next week..I had it early due to spotting/bleeding but normally I would have just gotten it at 28 weeks (next week) and when the baby is born....

Just got mine at the 28 week appointment!
You only have to get it again after the baby is born if the baby has a positive blood type (I think).

I got during both pregnancies and once after a m/c. I'm pretty sure I got it after each birth too (I feel like they were always poking and prodding)
It's an easy shot, they put it into a fatty area (my first was my butt, but then every one after was my arm)

I think this is true - I know I had to get it again after DD was born bc she was A+.

I got one with spotting as well and was told I would get one later in the pregnancy and after the baby is born. It is to protect the baby and any future children you may have.

I received mine 3 weeks ago. This is my 3rd pg and the 5th time getting it. I received it while pregnant and then again when I delivered because the kids blood type are not negative.
