where to get bridesmaid type dress on short order?
I've been looking for a dress for another formal black tie wedding i have in April 
i really want something long and classy looking, sort of like a bridesmaid dress actually
if i go to a bridal store, i'll have to wait like 8 weeks for something to be ordered and come in and then have it fitted right?
are there any places that have those kinds of dresses off the rack?
i'm already looking at macys, L&T, Nordstroms

estelles in farmingdale??
i've never been in there myself, but i know many women on this board have had success there. i plan on trying there for a few weddings i have in may.

thanks! Estelle's is very hit or miss with me. I am a size 16 so i'm somewhat limited in my selection. I find Estelles to either be super jr (short cute prom dresses) or too old (MOB dresses)
But its definitely worth giving a try since they always get new stuff in

What about David's Bridal?
Lord & Taylors & Nordstroms usually has some nice gowns. Maybe J.Crew too. I know they have a bridal line.
