Mid 30s and mini skirts
Yay or nay?
Just bought 2 tweed minis from the gap and hey are so cute-- but short!! I think I remember reading no mini skirts over 35 or something like that. I'm not quite 35, but pretty close. What do you think?

That's bull! I am 36 and just started wearing them with the high boots that are now so popular! I don't look my age and am very petite but I say if you can pull it off go for it. Just make sure the rest of you is covered!  It's all about HOW you wear them, IMO!

i would definitely rock mini's in my 30's! why not?! maybe if theyre toooooo short tho, i'd wear leggings and boots. personally i love that look!

Thanks ladies! I knew that was bull! I can definitely pull them off. people "tell" me I look lime I'm in my 20s. (hopefully they're being truthful.) the skirts are also very classic-- wool tweed. No sequins or anything, though I would adore a sequin mini for new years eve.

Yay! It's freezing out lately so I'm sure you'd wear them with tights or leggings. The "no miniskirts over 35" rule is from forever ago, because the thinking was no one wants to see old ladies' varicose veins and cellulite. 
Assuming your legs are hot, or that you're covering them, you're good to go.

As long as you look good in a mini skirt go ahead! I really don't see what age has to do with it  You could be 20 and look horrible in one and 50 and look amazing.

I'm 35 and wear them all the time, mostly with tights in the winter.
Honestly, my legs are my best feature and I see nothing wrong with them if you look good in them!
