Lurking on the pregnancy board.
Lately I have been lurking on there a little bit. I am a glutton for punishment  It really just rubs salt in the wound. Anyone else do this?! I don't know why I torture myself!!!
I thought for sure I would be pg by now, I mean we started ttc in May. Oh well, maybe this is the month.

i lurk there all the time. Once in awhile it makes me feel jealous, but usually I just like to go read about different things that I may expect when I do get pregnant. I also really like seeing all the updates on each of the girls.

I love looking at belly pics! Then it makes me super sad.
DH laughs at me because I had a pretty rough pregnancy (felt sick for most of it) and I couldn't wait to get the baby out of me and not be preggo anymore, and here I am itching to be pg again.

I have lurked on the PG board for years. Way before we were even married. Something intrigues me about pregnancy.

me too but i can't help myself...it's almost like i am in denial or something...
but i still want to see the girls i was pregnant with - i like to check up on them - for some reason it only hurts me when it is people IRL that are pregnant - that hurts me and makes me sad - but for some reason i don't feel that way towards LIFers - it's like i am rooting for everyone and i know others have had losses just like me (or infertility struggles) so rooting for them gives me hope that i can get there one day and can still be a mom...
but really, i need to relax....
i feel stupid posting on here also b/c i can't TTC again for a few months - but here i am posting away

Don't feel that way! You belong here you should be able to post on whatever board you feel like. I just don't post on pg because I don't want to jinx myself, LOL I know it's stupid.

I know I wasn't pg but I still see all the girls from the months I have been trying and see how far they are into their pregnancies! Of course I am happy for them, but it's also a hard pill to swallow.

I actually felt the reverse. After no AF/BFN at CD40+ I couldn't bear reading the TTC board anymore because it made me so jealous of all of the girls who had regular cycles, knew if they were in a 2ww or how many dpo they were, and were actually "TTC"
I felt like my body was all screwed up and that I wasn't ovulating and that I wasn't really "TTC" yet
I read the PG and Parenting boards which seemed so distant to me that they were something to look forward to if that makes sense. TTC was what I wanted and thought I couldn't have, and it hurt too much to read it.
All I can say is, you never know what is going to happen and you may end up there sooner than you think!

I hear you. Initially the TTC board was a bit hard for me because I have longer cycles and I would see girls flying through their 28 days cycles, being on the 2ww thread 2x in one month, while I was skipping months. I guess after being on here a while now, it doesn't bother me anymore.

i feel like this a lot too but i still post here all the time. I have had AF 2 times since August because of my long, irregular cycles (bc of pcos). It's really hard seeing the girls who have had several more cycles than me in that time frame and then go on to get their BFP. At the same time, I still post here bc all the girls have been so supportive and helpful and I do want everyone to get their BFPs.

I use to on and off after the M/C to see all the updates on the girls I was due with for this past october. Every now and then I lurk, I know my time will come again.
