Question

Hi! I am new to this board...I look forward to hearing all of your wonderful advice! I am SO new to TTC...here is my situation: I went off BCP right before my wedding in October. I had one "normal" AF on Nov 19th. I calculated ovulation to be on or around Dec 5th...we tried BD every other day before Dec 5th. I was "supposed" to have AF on or around Dec 16th (for the typical 28 day cycle). I started spotting yesterday (which is not typical for me). Does this mean anything? Chat Icon

Re: Question

Its def. possible that it can be implantation bleeding but you also have to remember that a womans body takes time it regulate itself after coming off BCP. Its only been 1mth off BCP for you and on average it takes 3 cycles to regulate. HOWEVER, that is the average your body may have already regulated itself and you may have timed intercourse perfectly! I got off BCP in Sept. and my cycles have been right on target, just like yours seem to be. So with that being said I really hope you get your BFP Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

ITA it could be implantation... because that would be about 7dpo and thats the general time of implantation...

its still a little early to test... i would say wait another day or 2 to test

Re: Question

like the other girls said, it could be implantation bleeding. However, if you recently went off BCP it could just be your period starting a few days early. Sometimes it takes your body a little while to regulate so your period may not be a normal 28 day cycle.

Re: Question

implantation bleeding is really not that common. people tend to work it up to be more of a 2ww symptom than it really is. its more normal to spot a day or two before AF due to dropping progesterone levels, than it is to have implantation bleeding.

all im saying is dont look into it at all. symptoms are meaningless cause you're either pregnant or youre not, and symptoms or lack thereof won't change that. just hang in there!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
