buying a gucci bag

I have never owned one and I have been saving up for the ladies web hobo. I want to buy it as cheap as possible. Does anyone know if it would be cheaper if I bought it outside of US? My mom is going on a cruise next week and will be visiting tons of islands and I know many have a gucci retail store, for example Aruba. Would it be cheaper there, I would imagine I could save at least on the tax? I know there is also a gucci store at the Atlantis in Bahamas and I am going to the bahamas in June. I am also going to cancun in January and I know there is a store there as well.

You can call up the outlet stores and see if they carry the bag.. If they do, you can purchase it over the phone and they will FEDEX it to you..

I guess it depends on the bag you are looking for. If you post the a picture maybe I will remember seeing it at Atlantis (we were just there in Nov.). They also had a store in the downtown area but they didn't have what I wanted. As far as price, I didn't think they were cheaper at all, except you save on tax.

My friend bought her Gucci bag in Aruba and she said it was much cheaper than the US.

I checked out the gucci bags in Aruba. They are cheaper and there is no tax. Probably will save you a couple, to a few hundred.
