Which one would you buy? Poll & Pics
I just can't decide. I love both. I want to buy one of these for above my kitchen window. So which one do you think? And I have already measured the area and either one of these will fit there. #1 is taller and #2 is about 2 inches shorter.

Kitchen window will have a new roman shade, inside mount on the window. So trim work will be showing. No valance, just the roman shade.
It will be the Diamond Spa shade.
This is the only pic I have with now window treatments on it from when we were installing the kitchen.

I use them above windows and doorways. ;)
Edited to say number 2..
Number 1 is great but I think it looks better over an arched opening or an area that is arched in general.

Personally I like the 2nd one better.
I do love them both. But I'm not a huge flor de leis person and i see a few of those in the 1st.
I feel like the 2nd is a tad more contemporary and the 1st is more elegant or fouffy if you will.
Either will look great though. I LOVE the iron wall art that's out now. I have to find some for my casa!

PS - and i'm not a creeper... but I think i came across your pics yesterday on this board... and you had sliding doors to the left of the kitchen area with iron hangings on either side. Square shaped.
If that's you... then I'd try to see which iron window hanging will match the 2 near the sliding doors. I feel like the 2nd one would match them better, if i remember correctly.

I don't think you need anything there at all. It doesn't seem like the space is tall enough to need something and it would give the eyes a place to rest above the diamond patterned shade & back splash.

1. i like how the lines bring your eyes UP rather to the left and right (which is probably your cabinets).

I like #1, seems more elegant. To me, #2 looks a bit more like something you would find on a porch railing.
