Glad I am not the only one!
I was very disappointed with it all...And it just seemed like they had her picked out from the beginning! Makes me not really want to watch another season of NFNS...

yeah i already knew the winner though since FN spoiled it by giving it away on their website a few months back.. but i knew they would pick her since they currently don't have that type of cuisine on FN

Yeah - that's how I felt. Even when she did poorly you could tell there was no real chance of her going home. It was all a big production just to land her in the top spot and I'm pretty disappointed. She does zero for me. And I HATE the name of the show.

I agree that of the top 3 she was probably the best.. although I also really liked Herb. But I still think it was designed for her to win.
I guess I'm moderately disappointed because you can already see her on YouTube and get her recipes off of her blog. I've tried a couple and they haven't done much for me - maybe it will be different once she has her own show.

Nothing that she made on the show looked fantastic to me...it always amazed me that the judges said she made such great food. And her on the Iron Chef episode - she was horrible!!!!!!!!!!

no idea i read on an article where people discussed it and put up print screens of FN's site where they in fact displayed aarti's name under their chef profiles..

That's how I felt...I thought the Big Chef guy was like Guy Fieri, they've had latin flavored shows before but never an Indian one. I like Aarti, I'm excited to see her show!

I saw the first few episodes and knew from her personality and cooking style she would be a finalist or win it. I'm glad she did and hope she does well!
