*questions about duvet covers?

1) how do you keep your duvet from slipping/sliding/bunching?

2) i get super hot when i sleep ... does anyone have a lightweight down comforter they can recommend?

3) anyone have a duvet comforter from pottery barn - how is the quality???

1. I have bought duvet covers from Target and from Macys and both slip and DH HATES it. He thinks that duvet covers are dumb though. I pick mine up from the end that is not slipping, and shake it so that the down comforter goes back down. I do this every 2-3 days

2. I had a really expensive down comforter before the one I have now and it was really thick and jammed packed with feathers making it super warm in the winter but almost unbearable in the summer. The one I have now is from Macy's and is a no name brand that was on sale for 50 dollars and came with two pillows. It doesn't have nearly as many feathers in it due to the fact that it's cheapo but to me, it's a lot better because it does it's job in the winter still while not over heating me in the summer. Only problem I have with this one is that the feathers come out sometimes. I would also recommend a lightweight duvet if you get really hot. I have a thicker one for the winter and a thinner cotton one for the summer.

Try Saftey pinning the corners of the comforter to the duvet cover from the inside.

I think using alternative down may keep you cooler.

my duvet never slides. I got it from Ikea.

my duvets never slide either, and the ones I have are from PB. The quality is EXCELLENT

I have dh help me make sure I am pulling each corner of the down blanket to the respective corner. I use a down comforter for myself, but put a polyfilll/allergen free comforter from PB in our guests in case anyone is allergic. I also like them because they are lightweight and create less dust.
