Vacation Spinoff
At what point in your pregnancy would you decide to stay put?
My in-laws rent a place on the Cape for a week every August. DH goes for the week and I drive up with my Mom for a few days. It will be 4 weeks before my due date and my Mother thinks I'm crazy for even thinking about it.
Would you go that close to your due date?

As long as I was feeling fine, sure I'd go! I'd just make sure I knew where the local hospital was, just in case.

If I was up to it, yes. I'm 5 weeks away and just went to visit my sister in Saratoga this weekend. It was a nice getaway.

Thanks Ladies!  DH already searched for the nearest hospital and it a half hour away. After working 6 days a week all summer, I think it will be much needed before the baby comes!

good question. I was wondering the same thing. DH usually runs the NYC marathon, it is Nov. 5. We will be in charlotte by then, and I am due on 12/18.
Also, my shower is up in the air. Unsure if I want one or not...but if my fam wants to do it, atleast I can give them a date when i can come up.

I went to Chicago and a Cubs game about three weeks before. A little uncomfortable, but I'm glad we went.
