tax credit...
i know its been extended to sept 30th but is it true you just have to close by then? i thought u had to be in contract by april and close by sept but someone just told me ( they are going to contract next week) that they will be getting the 8k as long as they close by sept 30th

Yes you had to already be under contract by April 30, 2010 to have any opportunities to lock into the $8000 government first time home buyer tax credit.
