I am DESPERATE
I would never dream of asking for this but I am literally am a nervous wreck right now.....
We need to turn the garage into SOphia's Bedroom before the new baby comes (in 7 weeks) My husband had someone volunterring and he came in and has done some work but left us high and dry and we havent heard from him for 3 weeks......
.....What is left to do:
3/4 of it is framed.... needs to be finished
insulation
(vinny can run heat)
(vinny has a volunteer electrician)
need a window cut out
need a door cut out leading to dining room
sheet rock
Please Please if you know anyone who can do any of this please ask them to help us and FM me!!!!

you can try Service Magic.com. We have used this service a couple of times and we are in the process of using them again for another project. It's free to sign up for this service. You get three contractors that the service picks for you. Of course you need to double check on these contractors before you hire them and make sure they have insurance & are licensed. GL! Sorry I don't know anyone personally.

She can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure she is looking for an experiencd person to donate their time to finish the room for their medically fragile daughter.
I wish I knew someone or even wish I could do it myself for you

Im not sure what level of expertise is needed to finish but I am willing to pay a fare price for the work that still needs to get done that my husband cannot do, my husband is willing to help also, he just cant do it alone

Have you tried contacting a company like Allure - who donate their time and services for the Extreme Home Makeover shows? How about contacting a vendor on this site?

My dad has done these kinds of repairs/projects around our house as I grew up, I will ask him if he has the time off to help you out and let you know!! Also if you just need an extra hand my fiancee and I are off for the summer starting next week and would be more than happy to help some fellow St. John's alums out We're not experts by any means but would be happy to help. Will let you know when I talk to my dad if he can help!
