Granite
Has anyone used Marathon Granite and Marble in holbrook? If so how were they?
If you can recommend any other granite places (in the suffolk area) that would be great too!!
Thanks!

We are in the process of getting quotes. They were our first stop and so far I like the owner there the best. He seems like he really knows his stuff....We are going to 2 more places this week to compare pricing. I am hoping Marathon comes in low so we can us them

Re: Granite
I have Used Rock Rose Granite, they are in Bohemia ( shop) there showroom is in Medford on RT. 112 I had shoped around and found them to be the best (there were a few cheaper but not much, but again you get what you pay for) They also had my job done in less then a week and alot of places said 2-3 weeks. I know of others that had used them good luck.

Re: Granite
Just wanted to update. We decided to go with Marathon and we are in the process of cancelling our order. The owner did a template and marked our brand new cabinets and ceiling and then decided it was $500 more for an ogee edge from his original quote.....We are not happy to say the least

did he quote you with the ogee edge originally? if so, he should be making good on that.

Re: Granite
Definately check out Target Marble & Granite (also in Holbrook).
631-588-7400
Tell him Laura & Chris from Smithtown sent you. They did an awesome job and were very reasonable with their price.

Re: Granite
Marathon was the highest priced of all I went to see...Rock Rose was very reasonable and I really liked them...Target got good reviews but when I met with him I felt like he really didn't even ask info, etc. and he made it seem like he would just order the slab without us picking it out. I just got a very unprofessional vibe from him. I got an amazing quote from Stone Pro and we are thinking of going with them. They got a good review on here. Let me know what happens!

Re: Granite
we always recommend Alcamo in Commack to all of our clients. I would say 95% go with them and 100% of those are satisfied!
They're on Jericho Turnpike
