Need some help re: Bottles

Hi,

I'm a bit confused on what I should register for regarding the bottles & nipples. I don't have a dish washer so we decided to go with the Avent bottles instead of the Dr. Browns since there are so many extra parts. My question is how many 4 oz and 9 oz bottles do I need and what's the difference between the many different nipples?

Newborn Nipples by Avent
Slow Flow Nipples by Avent
Medium Flow Nipples by Avent
Fast Flow Nipples by Avent

Do I need all these different flows?

Any advice you can give would be so helpful!!

we really didnt/dont use the small bottles to me it was a waste to buy them when in a few months the bbay will be eating more and needing the bigger bottles ...so i would say only a few. ...HTH

I can tell you that I bought way too many 4 oz bottles. My daughter came home from the hospital drinking 4 oz. I have 10, 8 oz that are suiting me fine right now. As far as nipples. I started with slow flow. I really love my Dr Browns but I do dishwasher them daily.

I also wouldn't just register for Avent, b/c you don't know if your baby will take to them. You should be prepared for that. Andrew used slow flow nipples for 5 months and then to fast flow after that.
