Late Oers-2 part question (TTC and Preggo Gals- help!)

OK Its CD 16 and still no line
HOWEVER, it seems like I have EWCM today and dull cramping (although I felt like I had that last week too).

Regardless we've BDed A LOT (CD 7,10,11,13,14,15)

We're going to BD again tonight and tomorrow (16-17) plus Saturday-Sun (20-21)-I think we'll have fully covered our bases.....

You girls gave me great advice on my OPK thread!!

Question-

My cycles the past 3 months are exactly 27 days..

so hypothetically, if I don't O until CD 19, then is it weird that AF comes 8 days later?

Christina was so helpful when I FMed her about this-I'm just curious to know what all the other late Oers have went through..

I o"d on cd19 my first cycle using the cbefm. i got my period 14 days after that.


then i o'd cd12 on the second cycle with cbefm. i got my period 16 days later.

idk if that helps you at all. but that's all i have for you jen!!

8 sounds quick - but what do I know. I have been tracking my last 7 cycles or so and using OPK's and when I get my line/ around Day 13/14 - usually 14 days later AF arrives. When I got my line/ on day 18/19 - it was more like 11 days. This time I got my first on day 18 and tomorrow is Day 11 so fingers are crossed here although I think AF is coming adn not hopeful at all but still crossed and wishing.

Your LP is usually around the same length month to month, give or take a day. Most people's LP is between 10-16 days. Do you temp? That is the best way to determine when you Oed and how long your LP is. Assuming you have a normal length LP, you would be due to get AF 10-16 days after you O.

I don't have any advice, but I def. sympathize!

This is only my 2nd month TTC, but I used OPKs the first month. Using the OPK drove me CRAZY! Granted, it was my first month off of BCP, and I didn't get a until CD 23; I got AF 16 days later. I decided to take a step back and not use OPKs this month...maybe in a couple of months, if my methods aren't working, I'll add that back in again .

As long as your LP is 10 days then you are good...any shorter than that then I believe there could be some worry....but you have time to O and still get the 10 day LP. Good luck! I know how frustrating it is!

Your cycle might be a little longer this month. Is this your first month using OPKs? Do you know when you O'd last month? Your O date can change and so if your LP remains the same, your AF would be due later than usual.

If it turns out it is 8 days this month, it can be a fluke. If it happens a 2nd month, then I'd discuss with your dr.

Hang in there. I always O'd late, usually CD20. The month I got pregnant I O'd on CD22!
