If you had a fence replaced?
Did the company take away the old fence?
We had a few sections of our PVC fence replaced and assumed that since they were taking down the old fence that they would take the old fence with them. I don't know if our garbage men will take this....
Waiting for the owner to call back...

We had the old fence taken away, but that was something they specifically asked us and there was a charge for this.

Thanks for the reply. They didn't ask us, and I assumed it was part of the installation. The owner called me back and told me to put it by the curb.

If I recall correctly that is exactly what happened with us. One side of fence that we took down was actually a neighbor's but it was very old. We wanted that side to be done in our new fencing so we just offered to pay for it to be taken down and carted. Our neighbor was actually so happy about that. Another option would have been to put up a new fence against his but that seemed silly to everyone.

We negotiated them to include it in the price, especially since it was metal and they scrap it.
