DH's semen analysis is today...
In one hour exactly. Neither one of us was able to sleep well at all. We were both up every hour or so at different times.
I don't know why but I am so nervous. I guess it's because I always knew there was something wrong with me so when I had testing and stuff I never expected a great outcome so I was prepared and didn't really worry about it. With DH, we've never thought that maybe there was something wrong.
Please send good vibes our way!

If you don't mind my asking - was there anything you guys had to do (or not do) to prepare for this. The reason I ask is my DH may be going for one in the near future as well.

Don't mind at all! We had to abstain for at least 2 days and no more than 5 days. Also, no one mentioned it but DH hasn't had any alcohol in the last week. Other than that, we just have to keep the sample warm (body heat) and get it to the lab within the hour.

Thanks! I'm not 100% sure, I know that since the sperm only live a very short time outside the body that they do the analysis as soon as you bring int he sample. My SIL and BIL went through this process a few years ago with the same doctor and said they found out the results before they left the office. I'm hoping that's the case for us too!

Just remember, if they do find something wrong, it will just be a step closer to a BFP because they will help you solve whatever is the issue! If there is a problem, better to know and get it taken care of than not know! Most of these things are common and correctable!!
Also, you could still get a BFP this month so none of this will matter anyway!
