LIPA ??
Ok so we moved into our house about 3 months ago and since then we recived 2 lips bills. We are on a Balanced billing plan (i guess thats what the previous owner had) and it was set at $33 a month (house was vacant for months) so the 1st bill comes and its 33 so i ifgured this month when they read the meter it would go up but the bill came in today and nope its still $33.00
Now my question is... Do i call them and ask them about the low amount or do i just contuine to pay it and not say anything?? Are they able to bill us at the end of the year for all the amount we were never billed???

Re: LIPA ??
I would call them or pay a little extra each month. They will be you for the overage that you did not pay at the end of the year.
We had this when we moved into our house as it was vacant for a year. It was $33/month then after a few months went up to $75/month. Now after a few year, I pay $129/month.

Re: LIPA ??
if you are on balanced billing there should be an area on the bill (2nd Page) hows the total balanced billing amount vs the actaul usage amount and then the difference is either in your favor or their favor
It should say the following on
Balanced Billing Status (After payment of this bill) Start: April Months Remaining: 11 Usage To Date $ XX.XX Billed To Date XX.XX Balance due Company or Balance in your favor $ XX.XX

Re: LIPA ??
It will take them about 3 months to regulate what kind of electricity you are using. They will adjust it for the remaining months.
