Photo/Frame Array up Stairwell

Hi,

So I was wondering if anyone had done this and had pictures? I want to do a large photo/frame collage on the wall of my stairwell, but I am kind of overwhelmed by the whole thing. I need pictures to help me! I want to do a mixture of frame sizes, shapes and colors, as we have a very open floor plan and I want the colors to bring some cohesion to the different areas that are visible from the foyer.

Here are some things I found, but if anyone can help, please do! THe one is not a stairway but I like the mix of colors....

camacho's is very nice. i believe if you do a search on the home board there have been other posts about this with pics. GL! I wish I had a staircase to do this. We are in a hi-ranch and I don't think there is enough room for that. post pics when you are done. love your inspirational pics.

OMG THANK YOU! These are great! I think I have enough to start work on this. I changed up a bit and am going to do all white frames with different color mattes.

I've done with with different mirrors and vintage artwork. We've rearranged it a few times and added to it, but this is the last picture I had.



My inspiration came from a photo I saw in Domino (RIP lol).

west elm has a how-to for hanging art/frames. They don't have the stairwell layout but they do have for a wall

I did this in my house, my big thing was making sure all my frames were similar. Every frame is black, even if they're a little different but I like the conformity of them all being black.
