Room Design Question

Okay -so I took some time out of my day today to photoshop quickly a room design using things I have an interest in buying to redo my master bedroom. I am just trying to get some opinions on whether all thisl matches. The wall hangings are just for illustration purposes as this is not really what my bedroom looks like.
The thing I am wondering if whether the wall color, bedding and curtains go together. Please let me know what you think when you get a chance. Thanks in advance!!

Re: Room Design Question

i think it looks great but i would maybe go with a more brownish tone color than a goldish tone color for the wall color

Awwww...thanks, I am definitely getting the bedding and I already have the curtains, the wall hangings are from JC Penney where I want to get the bedding so I guess I can just tack a few on to the order Chat Icon

Re: Room Design Question

I like the gold color. A lot. A lot, a lot.

You're getting samples first? I wish I could offer a suggestion for you but I only have a deep brown color and a golden color in my home.

Good luck in your search!

Agreed! Wouldnt change a think...I think the paint color goes with everything, but it especially compliments the furniture.

Re: Room Design Question

I really appreciate everyones comments... When DH and I were at Home Depot tonight, we decided to try an more brown color and I after putting the sample on the wall I think I really like it...BTW...what an expensive trip to Home Depot that turned out to be, we went to get paint and some wood and we wound up with a new toilet and a new bathroom vanity on top of everything else...over 600 dollars later we will have what amounts to a new bathroom by the end of the week...HA!!!

This is what the new paint should look like...I like it a lot.

THANKS!! We got home and I was so excited to put it on the walls...I think we might need to prime first because the yellow color underneath was showing through and I kinda of looked weird or it might need a second coat of tester...who knows...but I am so excited to purchase all the other stuff to. Primer is always a good idea so you get the most out of your new color.

So you purchased everything else in your picture? Nice! Chat Icon Take pics of the room when you are done. I would love to see it finished.Chat Icon
