Re: What should I do?
Donna,
Did your recent pap come back abnormal? If it didn't and all the other tests were normal, 3 months isn't that long at all for the doctor to suggest follow up. Since you are so young, even with your history, I think most drs are going to tell you to wait at least one year before testing for infertility causes.
My concern is that you don't feel comfortable with her and feel that she doesn't take that much time with you. Is there a PA in the office that can read your file and spend some time talking to you? Have you voiced to the dr that you feel unsettled right now and have some questions that you would like to ask?

I agree about if the results came back normal - she did what most drs will do and said wait and come back if not PG in a few months.
BUT - regardless - if you dont like her for ANY reason SWITCH to another dr. They are far too many OBGYNs out there to stay with one you dont like for any reason.

Agreed!! I dont know if I would jump to an RE just yet to be honest, but I do think you are feelign a bit rushed or not taken too seriously by your present OBGYN and I would definitely try your sister's recommendation at this point
As it is, if I am not happy with my OBGYN when I see her at my next appointment, or I feel rushed , etc.. I am SO looking for a new doctor ASAP.
Good Luck Donna, you know I am sort of in the same boat so I do feel for you!

Re: What should I do?
Thanks...Im not really into rushing to see a RE either, although the OBGYN did say IUI was probably what I would need.
I just felt that I told her that for 6 months we used temping, opk's, etc and nothing happened.
I do agree I should give it some more time...But I dont agree that 30 is young when you add a m/c , a stillborn and cancer to the picture.
