The day you found "THE ONE"" (house), did you wake up that morning feeling as though you would?
I hope that makes sense, 
Basically, before you left to go see a house/open house, did you get a sort of "feeling" that it was THE DAY you'd find THE ONE?

we went to the open house to meet with our agent and discuss an offer we were going to put on another house.
the open house was near my FILs house and they wanted to meet our agent so she told us to stop by... probably bc she knew we would fall in love with this house that was 50k more than our budget..
we ended up getting it for the price we wanted.. we FOUGHT really hard..
i knew THE SECOND the front door opened that it was the house for us.

I think I woke up that morning saying.. please let us find something already!!
We had looked a bunch with a couple of offers made with no luck, so we were getting frustrated to say the least!

Nope, no idea. And it was that day or never -- we HAD to find a house that day or else continue renting. As much as I wanted a house, I was prepared to continue renting until we found the right place.

Had no clue.
We were out viewing other homes when our realtor suggested we view a ranch that just came on the market that day. My DH had an appointment for a hair cut and we weren't interested in ranches so we initially declined. Our realtor was persistent, stating we would love the neighborhood, location and property. We caved and decided to go and view the house.
We ended up making an offer in the driveway (we were also their 2nd offer that day. We just happened to offer their asking price.)

NO!
The first time we saw the house was 2 days before I had my son. I was bloated, swollen, incredibly uncomfortable, and the house was basically a shell. They had just stained and sealed the hardwood floors, and I couldn't tolerate the smell.
Two months later we went back, after much convincing by our realtor. I was an exhausted new mom, and didn't give a crap about house hunting at that point.
The house was completely redone from top to bottom. I loved the quaitness of it, and I alreay knew I liked the neighborhood. DH needed only a slight nudge to get on board, and we put an offer in that night.

No. We weren't even going to look at houses that day. We had actually gone looking with a realtor the day before, were driving home from lunch the next day, happened to see an open house sign, and decided to go check it out (we did things like that often at the time). Had no premonition at all that it might be the house we'd end up buying.

We had a sign from my deceased Dad, lol On the way I saw a license plate that said EDJ, my dads name was Ed and when we see that we think of it as a sign from him, Am I Crazy yes!

Well, I knew which condos I was going to look at that day and I knew which one I liked the best (from the pics) and its the one we ended up buying... I def had an attraction to it and thought it COULD be the one...

no... we had seen soooo many houses it was frustrating and felt like we were never going to find it. we saw a house we really loved but lost out on a bidding war. the realtor who listed that house asked us if we wanted her to show us another house in the area like the one we lost out on. we agreed, but she looked at it at first and was like "its overpriced and needs work"... so i wasn't expecting to like it. I decided to see it anyway and so glad we didn't listen to her initial impression of it, because we ended up loving it! apparently when she saw it they still had not cleaned it up so i guess she couldn't get past the "clutter".. oh well. we're currently on contract on it and i'm hoping to close by june (fingers crossed)!
