Any advice on how to help my poor
skin? My face and chest (tmi) are totally broken out. It's worse then when I was young. Anyone find any tricks to help reduce it or get rid of it? I'm in a wedding next month wearing strapless dresses and the girl isn't having our make up done - I just don't want to look like this!!
Thanks!!

my skinis so bad too, but afarid to use anything with acne medicine in it. I have been using Dove soap and it seems to help a little.

Tru Purpose soap and witch hazel. I do not think that you are allowed to use any topical things with medication in it. My dermatologist told me to use only Purpose soap, witch hazel and neutrogena moisturizer.

I had that on my back with my first pregnancy and the only thing that worked was Neutrogena body acne wash. It literally cleared in up in a few days. BUt you have to keep using it. And I agree about the proactiv - only thing that keeps my skin clear during pregnancy.

Re: Any advice on how to help my poor
I had the same issue, I do use proactiv on my face, after the 1st trimester was over. The proactiv has worked miracles, haven't had a pimple on my face since.
I know this could be myth, but I figured out that when I ate greasy, spicy, or acidic foods, my face, chest and back flared up. For my SIL's wedding my diet was soo blah, and I drank lots of water, so i wouldn't have to wear that strapless dress with zits on my back.
Just a thought

I can tell you what not to use....like a dummy I put hydrocortisone on my dry skin and thought "what the heck did I do". I would talk to the dr. Try dove soap...cant be too many chemicals in that.

I would call your dr first. Mine preferred I not use anything, not even tylenol the 1st trimester, but didn't say no to it. I experienced a loss right before this pg, so I wasn't taking any chances!
It wouldn't hurt to call
