Spinoff to would you be insulted........
If someone said to you, "hey, where did you get those curtains? I want to get the same ones just so I have something up until I get new windows," would you be insulted? I spent what I consider to be a lot on my kitchen curtains only to be told that someone else wanted the same ones as a throwaway.

I'm trying to imagine WHY a person would say anything like this .. but I can't ....... just a lack of common sense and absolutely NO tact! 
I'm sure your curtains are beautiful!  Now you need to throw them over your tactless friend's head!

haha I have the same reply here as I did on the other thread - I would either be insulted if I was having a bad day or laugh aloud at the person's lack of couth if I was in a good mood. My mood seems to make all the difference in how I take things.

I would think the comment was rude but I wouldn't be offended. Everyone's tastes are different.
but again, the comment could be out of jealousy. she likes what you have, but can't admit it or doesn't want to be pinned for "copying" you. so she plays it off as, she's just keeping them for now
