Pulling up carpet question???
My DH pulled up the carpet in the playroom in our house because there's hardwood underneath (which is the rest of the house). There was a carpet pad underneath, and it was stuck pretty well to the hardwood, so now there are adhesive marks and parts of the pad all over the floor--(looks spotted).
Is there anyway to get rid of all that so we can have the hardwood? He got some adhesive remover (and used a scraper) but its not that great...unless we need to let it sit longer...
Any ideas?

DH sanded and then restained the wood floors in our house. He rented a sander from Home Depot. The floors look amazing now!

I hope all the adhesive gets sanded away!

Re: Pulling up carpet question???
all of that will come off, just get extra sandpaper if their is adhesive because it will melt and goop onto the sander.
