Carpet Installation Question
I probably should have asked when the installation company called us.
We are having wall to wall carpet installed on Thursday in our 2 bedrooms upstairs, the hallway and down the staircase.
Do you think we need to be able to have all the furniture removed from a room for them to install the carpet or do you think they can just move some pieces from one side of the room to the other depending on where they are working?

All the furniture needs to be out of the room for them to stretch the carpet. They can't just work on part of a room at a time, since the entire carpet gets stretched.

When we had carpet installed they just moved the furniture, we asked before hand- you might want to call and ask, it depends on the company.HTH

we had to have everything moved out of the rooms before they got there. they usually don't like to move anything

We paid a little extra so that they would move a certain number of items in each room for us. THe issue is whether or not we have to take apart the things that won't go out of the room without being dismantled.

We paid a little extra so that they would move a certain number of items in each room for us. THe issue is whether or not we have to take apart the things that won't go out of the room without being dismantled.
I don't think you can have anything in the room at all 
Maybe you should call them since you paid extra for them to move stuff and find out if everything has to be out and tell them there are pieces that can't just be moved.

I think we are just going to play it safe and take apart the things that can't be moved out of the room without doing so. It's the bed in our room and the crib in DS room. Fun times!!!
