HSG ??? Help
I have my appt with Dr on Mon to discuss since we are having trouble TTC. I had emailed my dr last week to ask if she would write script for HSG before my appt b/c im due to O when i see her and i would have to wait until next cycle to get HSG. So the dr office calls me today (CD8) and tells me she wrote the script 
So i called to try and get an appt and the earliest is friday (CD11) - normally its 3-6 days after your period ends which would make that 6 days for friday. I usually O around CD15 but i did O on CD11 one month - am i safe to get the HSG done? I figured i could use OPKs and see what happens - hopefully i wont O early this month
I dont want to mess up any shot this month and not sure if the HSG is bad too close to O
Im waiting for my Dr office to call back but i figured id run this by you girls ...

You may want to meet with a fertility specialist. They are equipped to handle testing patients with very little advance notice needed (the one I go to has you come in before work, anytime between 6:30 and 8:30) on the days of your cycle that you need to go. They make appointments based on your cycle not their schedule. Good luck

Did you call the radiology office doing the HSG and ask them? They should be able to tell you. When I called to make my appointment they were pretty informative.

The woman making the appoint asked when my LMP was and I said the 1st day was Jan 19th - so she said friday was 10 days and that was fine - but since Jan 19th was CD1 that makes Jan 29th CD11 not 10 days??
Not sure if im just getting too technical - im hoping my OPKs are negative up until i get the HSG and then i think i'll be ok
