Old houses = dusty
Does anyone else have this problem? I live in an old colonial, and it seems no matter how often I dust, it always just seems to reappear a few days later. I feel like it's coming from the walls or something....I don't think there's anything I can do about it. What I hate the most is when the dust collects on the blinds

Re: Old houses = dusty
i have forced hot air for heat and i am not kidding, I dusted on SUNDAY NIGHT and by monday mid-day it seemed like I had dusted a week ago. the dark furniture doesn't help of course.
I don't know if there is anything you can do about it, but it certainly is really annoying.

Re: Old houses = dusty
I have an old colonial too and I have the same problem. Does a lot of traffic/vehicles pass your home? I have a bit more than average so I think that adds to it.

Re: Old houses = dusty
Try taking off all the radiator covers and vacuum them really well. I do this 2x/year.
My house isnt old but I was shocked to see so much dust on them when I loved in.
Will help with your heating bills too.
