Got results
I found out today that the results of the sonogram and pap were normal 
Now they are taking blood to check hormone levels on thurs. Hopefully they figure out what is going on soon.
For those of you who are diagnosed with PCOS, how did they determine your diagnosis?

Glad that everything is looking good!!! 
I was diagnosed after blood testing.. All of my symptoms pointed to it, but they did some testing to confirm.

I was diagnosed when I was 16 - I got AF every 10 days 
But when I went to the doctor, she did the internal sono of the ovaries and you can def see it on that - it almost looks like a string of pearls
I believe that she did confirm as well with bloodwork
I have changed doctors since and they did the same - internal sono and bloodwork

Have you ever been on the conceive website? They have so much helpful info...this is what they have for PCOS...if you go to the blogs there are also women with PCOS sharing their stories..

I have PCOS and was diagnosed as a result of terribly irregular AF problems..... blood tests...... and a sonogram.

bloodwork and irregular AF. my LH:FSH was like 3:1 which is a classic PCOS symptom. some people with PCOS have the opposite issue (high FSH), but my FSH is normal. because of the high LH i had high androgens / testosterone, which caused acne as well.
remember PCOS is based on a bunch of different symptoms which present differently in different people. so two people with PCOS may have completely different issues and symptoms.
