what does this mean? UPDATE
hi ladies,
i took a test last week & got a BFP! however i've been having light bleeding for the past week & when i went to my ob/gyn they did a sono & did not see anything except a thickened uterus lining. she sent me for bloodwork & my hcg level is 100 which she said is consistent with what she saw on the sono. i went for bloodwork today as well to see if the number doubled...i'll hopefully find out tomorrow...
is it possible that it's just too early to see anything on a sono? i know that the date of conception was around nov.20-21st...
i'm hoping for good news but preparing myself for the not so good news 
has anyone gone through something like this?
UPDATE:
spoke to my doc & my numbers went down. she said that i had a very early miscarriage...
when i got the BFP it was unexpected but i just feel very sad right now...

i would think its too early to see anything i'm surprised they even looked, but 100 is a good number
 that the numbers double

its too early to see more when I went for my first sono thats all they saw too I hope your level doubles you should be ok stay positive

it's probably too early - that's what my first u/s looked like too. i think my hcg numbers were a little higher, but they double every day so you could be literally one day behind my first visit. i wouldn't worry. they usually do 2 blood tests to confirm hcg levels are rising and as long as they are, that's good. they'll do another u/s in a couple of weeks and by then you should be able to see something.

I agree, it's way too early to see anything! I had some spotting in the very beginnig. If it is light, hopefully it is nothing and everything is okay. Hope those numbers double for you

i think it's way to early to see anything but 100 is a good sign! for doubled numbers!

Absolutely early. You are entirely too early to see anything-most OBs won't even do a sono until you are 8 weeks past your LMP.
The important thing is that your Beta/HcG doubles every two days. You started out with a good number-but it is early pregnancy, so you are not going to see anything yet.

If you look at my last post it was exactly about this...
I got a BFP went in and they saw NOTHING on the screen... took the blood test my 1st # was 235... second number (2 days later) was 550...
I am not going in for another ultrascreen until at least mid January because we dont want to scare ourselves...
Hope you number double too!!!!
You probably just very early like me... I'll be praying for you!

I am so sorry. I went through this twice in a row. I got BFPs followed by spotting then got AF. It was very upsetting.
