Baltimore

We (DH and our 2.5 year old DD and I) are thinking about stopping in Baltimore on our way to Virginia and spending the night. I'd like to go to the Aquarium.

Any suggestions on where to stay, where to eat, what else to see??

Thanks!

Re: Baltimore

We took DD there last April for a few nights. It's such a cute area!

Definitely take your DD to Port Discovery. She'll love it!

We stayed at Homewood Suites which was about 7 minute walk to the inner harbor. It has all suites which I find nearly essential when travelling with DD (although, for 1 night, I'm sure a regular room would do).

I actually thought the aquarium was a bit boring (and dark!), but apparently many people disagree with me! Chat Icon

There are tons of restaurants in the inner harbor to choose from that are kid friendly!

Let me know if you have any questions. Chat Icon

The Sheraton is just a few blocks from the inner harbor, which has a lot of restaurants. It was clean and convenient.

There are tons of hotels around the Inner Harbor, most are pretty good. Do some digging around and compare rates, let me know if you have any questions about specific places, Ive stayed in a few.

For a little one, Port Discovery and The Maryland Science Center are also in walking distance to the Harbor.

There are a bunch of cute strolling streets/areas for shopping, restaurants too if that's your cup of tea.

FM me if you want any details. I love talking about Baltimore. Chat Icon

I grew up there! I'm there right now for Thanksgiving and it's going to be hard to leave. Enjoy your trip. The aquarium is one of the best in the nation!
