Re: PVC Fencing - or Other Fencing
we looked into that cause I really liked the wood look but theres only a $10 difference between the 2 per foot I think its foot.
How ever they sell it it was only a $10 difference plus upkeep

Re: PVC Fencing - or Other Fencing
We did wood years and years ago.....and when it comes down I will do wood again. I don't like the PVC look myself.

Re: PVC Fencing - or Other Fencing
I took a walk around my neighborhood yesterday and I noticed a lot of people do wood all the way around and then PVC in the front....It makes the curb appeal of the house look better. There must be a big difference in cost if people are putting wood all around the yard, and not doing the PVC. You say its only $10. That cannot be right Scott

Re: PVC Fencing - or Other Fencing
I just began getting quotes today. All around the same price so far, $6,100. Might be rethinking this idea.

Re: PVC Fencing - or Other Fencing
We prefer the look of the weathered wood to the PVC. Our landscaper put in a wood fence for us 2 years ago. It was half the price of PVC back then.

I would think the difference would be more as well. You also have to factor in the maintenance cost of the wood. Not being handy, nor wanting to spend money down the road is one of the reason we chose PVC.
