When did you start cereal?
She just had her 4 month check up and the ped said we can start any time between now and 6 months.
I didn't think she was ready but we tried it just to see what would happen and she really liked it. Do you think it is too soon?

Thanks. So far he seems okay with it. If I see that he doesn't do well on it, I'm going to stop it and wait a while to try again.
How many days have you been giving your daughter cereal? If she's doing fine on it, I would continue with it.

We tried at 4 months hoping it would help the spitting up. She took it for 2 days then refused. Tried again a few weeks later same thing. I would say just after 5 months we got into once a day, then twice and now we're working our way to solids 3 times a day. She mostly does fruits and cereal. She's a picky eater. Lucky me.

No 4 months is perfect timing. Frankie just had his 4 month check up too and we started just the other night with cereal. It took him like 2 days to start liking it, but has been doing well with it. I give it to him in the morning and then at night before bed. In 4 weeks from now I will also start him on Veggies! Then at 6 months he can start fruit.... What fun, huh?

12 weeks for cereal, 16 weeks for fruit and 5 months old for veggies. I'm going to ask the pedi at his 6 mo check up on Monday about meat.

We started her at four months, by 5 months she really "got it"...now she eats like a champ...those first few weeks were hard though!
