True love doesn't end with happily ever after...

is this too small?

I really like this picture (thanks eddiesmommy) to put over my couch....is says on the website that it is 39" x 19"---do you think its too small...I'm assuming that is the size without the spacing though...what do you think?

thanks!

You can tape together sheets of paper into those dimensions. Then tape it to the wall and stand back - it will give you an idea of how it will look in proportion to the couch.

Re: is this too small?

how big is the couch? it would probably look good if it was a few inches shorter on each side ( maybe 5 inches on each shorter then couch?)

Re: is this too small?

I think its a great size for over the couch. Its over 3 feet wide (like you said, Im assuming thats without the spacing even) and 19" is a pretty decent height.

(youre welcome btw, LOL)

I agree. It's hard to determine without knowing the size of the couch . As an example, my couch is 86" and each piece of art (2) is 27w"x32h". Art is spaced 3" apart to equal a total width of 57". to add to the height i also have 2 vintage oars above the art.

eta: art.com is having a 20% off sale that ends today. code is artsy. they always have coupons but usually not as much as 20%.
